MBC Group is the first private free-to-air satellite broadcasting company in the Arab World. It incorporates 12 television channels, one of which is MBC4, an entertainment channel for young families with women at its core, which I was commissioned to rebrand.
I wanted to keep the female identity at it's heart, but with a stronger, fresher approach. I set about creating a set of idents that best represent the modern Arab female identity in all it's beauty and complexity; an identity which is expressive, bold, dynamic and full of colour, enabling the brand itself to really stand out from its competitors.
The rebrand was hugely successful, attracting a diverse new audience and bringing its social media footprint for the channel to well over 7.5 million users.
